i am pretty sure my neighbours are either deciding to do some rearranging of their home...
or i'm bothering them by playing music.



i'm awesome and like to cart my headphones around absolutely everywhere in my messenger bag. these have actually held up pretty well - for about two years. unfortunately, one earphone broke off, and no amount of duct tape in the heat and humidity we've been suffering could hold it together. (the above pictured headphones are not my specific ones. those were disposed of rather quickly after they suffered their inevitable demise. those are the type i had, however.)

i suppose it's time to invest in a new pair, as i've been playing my music nightly as i normally do ... with the windows open and the fan going, because it's hot as hell ... which means the music has to be played louder to actually hear it ... which means the neighbours get to hear it. sigh. it's been a few days and i'm sure they're ready to kill me.

then again, these are the same ones that play this song (and every other one just like it) flipping CONSTANTLY loud enough to shake my whole damned apartment:

i guess it could be worse for them. maybe i'll wait another week or so.
